I can't remember watching a game on TV and seeing so many fans fanning themselves. The Pre-Hurrican App. State game was unbearably hot, but was Saturday's two-drive game more humid than normal with the storms rolling in?

It was excrutiating. I think it zapped some energy from pregame crowd noise. I also have never seen so many people fanning themselves in the stands. One of the hottest games I can remember.

I worry about the Auburn game in 2 weeks -- 2:30 kick this past Saturday could have seen a lot of people sick.

It must have been really humid in Charlotte last Thursday night. Scar had guys cramping up and falling out on the 2nd play. Do they not work s&c all summer ?

It was one of the most miserable days I can remember over the last few years.

What sucks is that the last two weeks had seen very pleasant and non-humid weather in the Baton Rouge area. Sure there were days that got a bit warm in the afternoon, but DAMN, Saturday was absolutely awful. I had to chew each breath before I inhaled it.

In the shade it wasn't too bad; In the sun, it was hot. It's still summer, after all.

It was brutal and humid. Plus my pedometer tells me I walked 25,000 steps in that heat from the time I woke up to the time I ran back my car in the rain with my daughter. If it wasn't for the joy of hanging out with my daughter I could have sat at home all day and had a much better day.

But imho it was nowhere near Tennessee post Katrina and a few others.

After the 1:30 pm shower, the humidity & heat were the most intense since post Katrina. That was the worst.

Under the trees was the coolest we found. In our seats any contact with anyone was an immediate sweat stream.

Thank the lord for cold beers.

Hottest it's been at game time that I can remember. Saw several EMT's and med vac workers taking people out on stretchers right before kickoff. And by several I counted 5. 3 of which had ice bags placed on their bodies as they were wheeling them down the concourse.

Yep Hottest Ive ever experienced at a game. A bunch of people literally fell out. We all quit drinking alcohol and started drinking water because you couldnt retain it, you would just sweat it right out. And I didnt feel like making a hospital tripmm I cant wait to see hot hot it is for AU, praying for a cool front

I don't remember it being that bad to be honest. The redo game against Tennessee, app st in 08, tenn in 05, and even Florida a few years ago where they literally ran out of water were all 10 times worse

Oh you must have tailgated right in front of the stadium on the west side. I saw your crew. Because we walked a long way and I could have sweated a 5 gallon bucket worth.

The hottest I ever was in Tiger Stadium was the jerry Dinardo's first season when we played Auburn at night. My God that was unthinkably hot.

Saturday was the second most miserable. We were drenched and when the rains hit us walking back to our cars we were actually grateful to be drenched and amazed at how the rain was warm and not cold.

The rain at the Oregon State game in 04 was cold, made everyone shiver and miserable. Saturday night the rain was damn near a God send.

I don't know how my phone wasn't ruined because I was completely soaked to the bone but not miserably cold as with most soakings.

There it is.

We do set up close but not on the west side.

I'll admit that setup was beyond horrible. I hadn't sweated that much at 6am ever
