They don't need to push him. He isn't going anywhere.

At least with the media I understand they want to keep their access and honest answers... but the fact that some of our fans actually want O full time is incredible and scary.

The scary part is the Dick brained idiots that want Jimbo here. I'm done with LSU football forever if they shove Orgeron out the door after taking the team 7-1 to the Sugar Bowl after how this season started under Miles.

Orgeron will be the permanemt head coach after the season is over.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, but like other mentioned, there's something up and you can tell.

I'm starting to think it's family and friends of O's creating multiple accounts and bombarding the board as much as they can to push his agenda. I love Coach O as much as the next guy - as DL coach. But anyone insinuating O has earned the permanent HC position over someone like Jimbo Fisher is not being objective.

If you would have been told the afternoon Miles was fired that Orgeron would go 7-1 and a Sugar Bowl berth the rest of the way, would you have said he deserves the job? Keep in mind that he led the team to offensive explosions that saw numerous team records smashed during those eight games and the lone loss being to Bama at home where it was scoreless going into the fourth quarter.

Think of it this way.... Alleva would not have let him fire Cameron if he did not plan on giving him every single oppprtunity to have the job long-term.

You also must not remember the years that the offense could barely scratch 20 PPG with Jimbo as OC. If you take away the national championship year with Jameis Winston, Fisher'a record is eerily similar to the coach we just fired.

And for the sake of the argument let's assume he beats Auburn and Wiscy. A team with 1 loss by 10pts to Bama. How the frick does he not deserve this job?

How puffed out is Ponamsky's chest now that O is in the running?

Also, it's obvious that he's behind the ridiculous new weekly interview with Bagglio(sp?). That segment is awful.

The only thing Ponamsky is puffing on is O's cock.

I swear to god if our dumbass fanbase pressures our dumbass administration to hire Ed Orgeron as our permanent head coach, I will lose my fricking mind.

Everyone who wants O as head coach is reactionary and frankly, unintelligent.

The guy has a cajun accent and has guided supremely talented to teams to wins over teams he should've beaten. As an actual head coach he was an historic disaster that got worse every year he was there.

He was worse than his predecessor and successor at Ole Miss. His third year when it was "his team", he went 0-8 in the SEC. Nutt then took that same team to a cotton bowl win the next year. That proves what we know, O can recruit and is an absolutely horrid HC.

His handling of the Ole Miss program was so bad, it was laughable. I went to Ole MIss during that era and it was the wild west. No institutional control and he absolutely was the worst in-game coach I've ever seen, including John L. Smith.

If we hire him, we will never win shite again. He's a recruiter and DL coach, and that's it.

No. He's a great interim coach. Interim. His style and abilities do not project well in terms of long term program management.

You mean the guy Jimbo recruited? Why would you take that year away? Why don't you take his worst year away instead? What do the numbers look like then?
