Not better that is for sure. He could not run an option keeper like Harris. He would make mistakes vs good pass D's and throw INTS due to his bad vision and poor anticipation. He would be a statue and not be able to allude the pass rush like BH can. We would be a worse team with Lee at QB.

Bert Jones would have made us unbeatable if this was 1972. Loup had good arm strength and not much else. Jamie Howard would be fine as our QB today. He was handicapped by horrible coaching. Russell would make us an instant favorite for NC. So would Flynn.

So far we could have lined up Kragthorpe at QB and had the same record. We need a QB for November though and I don't see Harris getting great by then.

Why can't we get a better QB than BYU's backup, Cinn's backup, UCLA's freshman, or any other team that's has a solid pocket passer or 2 or 3? The dual threat QBs have not gotten it done for us.
