He was a good basketball player and might have developed into a better one if baseball wasn't his obvious future and road to fortune.

Ben was seriously ornery in college . He had better than average offensive skills and he was tough inside considering how thin he was . He was a bit slow footed on defense but not bad at all. Overall better than many on this thread would have you believe.

Ben was/is good at whatever he did/does. Talk about live the life.

3 sport star in high school
Scholarship to play sports at Div 1 school/LSU
Played 2 sports at that school/LSU
Became one of the best pitchers ever at LSU(which is saying alot)
Played on the the USA Olympic team and won a gold medal
Played 9 years in the Majors
One of the best commentators on TV for College baseball

I would say he has done more in sports than 99.9% of us!
