I hate when people diss on LaFell yea he had his bouts with the drops but so did Bowe, I think this guy will really shine this year, I mean look how he did last year with basically no qb. I expect great things from Mr. LaFell this year and I believe CURRENTLY he is the best reciever in the SEC. I expect him to go in top 20 and with great year top 10. He has all the measurables and I wouldn't trade him for anyone. Heres to a great year for JOJO

If he has a good season, he'll probably be a late first round pick.

Great size. Good-to-great speed. Plays with a lot of heart (e.g., his effort was instrumental in the comeback against Troy). Did have a bout with the "drops" in '07 but seems to have overcome these. I think the CBS announcers made the comment that LaFell was abusing UF's DB Haden last year.

He is going to have an all Amercian type of year. The guys is near impossible to cover if the OL gives JJ time.

Lafell greatest attribute IMO is his unbelievable ability to create separation (ala D Bowe) . There are so many so called "speed" guys that run sub 4.4s that never seem to get open bc they can't create separation. Lafell (like Bowe) does a great job using his size and strength to get DBs on their heels allowing him to create space for himself.

He has the size and speed to play in the NFL, but his separation ability will make him his $$

Mid to late first round. Guy gets open and he is a good blocker.

Dez Bryant and Lafell will be the top two receivers at the top of the draft boards this year. Both could easily go top10 in this year's draft.

Read the CFN preview of LSU--Pete Fiutak thinks he's the top WR drafted next year.

lafell is awesome... he fought hard last year through all the QB woes. also he gets open like a beast, even when he was dropping all the passes i still liked him because he was always open, and the drops can be fixed, but that ability to get open is natural
