I didn't get to see any of the game, so just wondering from the people who watched the game how he pitched.

He looked pretty damn good. He had good command of his pitches, was really locating them well, and seemed comfortable on the mound. I'm not sure how many strikeouts he had when he was taken off but I think it was around 7 and he only gave up one run through the 6 innings he pitched.

That is good news. Hopefully Walker can finally give LSU a pretty legit Sunday Starter. Thanks for the info

He was great imo. All 7 strikeouts I believe came in the first 3-4 innings, but when he got a base runner on, he got out of it. He was never in a 'bases loaded/no outs' situation or anything like that. I do believe, for all the heat he's taken, that CPM took him out at the right time. His pitch count was at 90, Freshman, they'd jus gained the lead in a low-scoring game, he hasn't had a K in 2-3 innings with several hard hit outs, including the last two.

He needs to change his name to Not Walker.

Am I right?

But seriously, I thought he did great. If he can duplicate performances like this we will do great.

He pitched great, but like last year, relief pitching is an Achilles heel

He pitched well enough to get a W.
