What do you expect us to say? How do all of the schools that lost recruits to LSU feel? How does Oregon feel about losing to Auburn and owning zero crystal balls?

too lazy to read right now.. but i believe they didn't want him at qb so he went to oregon.. so not sure how to feel.. i mean if he was here.. he still wouldn't play qb.

I can't imagine him being successful in a Pro-style offense. When we tried the Spread, we sucked at it, so I don't really think he would have been a fit here. Pretty much, Oregon runs the perfect offense that really suites him to a T.

I 2nd this.

Also, folks around here will reserve judgement until after LSU play Oregon. If he has a good game and we get beat, then you may get different responses.

However, I do think LSU wins and this won't matter much.

Miles was going to let him compete as a QB and he got all butt-hurt when Miles complimented him on being a great athlete. He said "I'm a QB not an athlete, lsu is out"

He's going to regret that decision thats for sure.

Doubtful. He's one of the top 2 players on a team that made the national championship in his sophomore season. I'd bet the farm he doesn't regret shite.

It worked out well for Darron but I'm not sure we need another slot WR we can use due to lack of a QB

Well I am not going to speculate about his feeling however he did get beat by an SEC team.

Oregon fans we know about Darron T, but do you know about us on defense? chances are no

It's too bad that he didn't come to LSU. He would have made a fine wideout here.

Thats like asking Hugh Heffner how he feels when a bunny leaves the house. It sucks but then he looks around and realizes it will be ok.

Les Miles had the pledges of both Darron Thomas and D.C. Jefferson that same year. He could've had 3 4-star QB's. Both Darron and D.C. Jefferson jumped ship after Jordan Jefferson committed. D.C. didn't want competition and Darron knew Jordan Jefferson was a better pro style QB at the time. He probably also felt threatened by the fact that Jordan was a hometown kid. Darron fits a system like Oregon, Auburn, or Florida better than LSU. He may have been a square peg in a round hole in LSU's offense. To me, Darron is a version of Russell Shepard with less highlight reels back in high school. Masoli is also an example of the type of system Oregon runs. Just because he does well at one school does not mean his skill set will transfer well to another.

He's a fine player and we of course would have loved to have him... but it's kind of hard to miss something you never had to begin with, and we realize that we can't have EVERY player.

Some players actually are going to want to play elsewhere.

When we look at our roster, though, we really don't see much that makes us sad. Trust us, we're okay with or without one player.

When was the last time you heard about ONE player being a huge superstar at LSU anyhow? That's what should concern you if you're Oregon. Think about it.
