Who is responsible for firing these two, because if it was ever a time to clean house its now not only because of the decline of the football program but the debacle that happened after the A&M game almost 2 years ago. There's no way if you're the number five money making program in college football you let this incompetence continue. Alleva made the Johnny Jones hire too. The only way we have a chance to get a good coach to come here is LSU clean house from top to bottom.

I agree both need to go, but have no idea what it would take get it done.

I would imagine King would have a say in Alleva being fired, and the hiring of his replacement. So he needs to go first, BC I don't trust him being involved.

Just like Alleva needs to be gone before Oregeron would ever be fired, because he can't be trusted to hold a competent coaching search.

I'd imagine this board has a lot to do with deciding everything. Question is, is the board full of King/Alleva loving morons as well? Or do they actually have some sense?

It's incredible and amazing isn't it?

We are saddled with the worst AD-HC combo in all of CFB.

These two are obviously politically entrenched with the Board of Supervisors. The Board has ALL of the power at LSU.

I am amazed that ANyone thinks LSU football has any bearing on the Chancellor of LSU and President of the LSU system. That is what F King Alexander is and football is a mere blip in his world of problems.

Of course, perhaps this line of reasoning is why it is so difficult to maintain any significant endowment at LSU while having one of the few athletic departments that is revenue positive.
