Oh come on. Everyone wants to look good, whether its sports or in the office. Now I agree some people can go overboard with it, but we all want our team to look good on the court or the field.
Otherwise, why don't we just wear plain white shorts and a plain white jersey with no accent colors, stripes or logos? Just "LSU" and a number.
No one wants that, because it's too boring. And I suspect even you'd agree with that.
