How do we start the game against Auburn?

Against McNeese St (not an official game) lots of new guys were put in and we seemed to try to get off to a fast start. The next week at Miss St, we all know what type of offense we saw. Upfield attacking throws by Harris, Fournette runs, TE passes, and also wildcat formation. At the starting of the games, LSU seemed to have clear momentum and pretty much shut down that Miss St crowd.
Near the middle and end of the game (not counting penalties which negated big yardage plays and TDs) there was a more conservative gameplan brought out. The defense played great from the start, but were tired near the end of the game because of little rotation (Believe it was Godchaux who said he was gassed). Against Auburn, a fast tempo team, what game plan do you guys see LSU run? Do we take it slow first and get a feel for what Auburn has, or do we start out swinging like the Miss St game and then try to sit on the lead? I believe we will start out with a conservative game plan and let our defense eat. Near the middle of game, the offense will explode and destroy Auburn's defense while our defense gets a breather. Finally, towards the end, I believe we go conservative again and put our rested defense back to work.... Again, what are your thoughts peeps?

We're either going to kick it to them or they're going to kick it to us.

You forgot about the coin flip.

LF left.....LF Right......DW up the middle.....First down....Crossing pattern to Dupre for 20. Harris keeper for 13. LF for 12. LF for 5. TD to Dural down the sideline. 7-0 Tigers with 11:20 left in the first quarter.

I'm going to to with Read Option on the first play, based on the fact that AU is struggling with that right now (per an earlier post). Attack that weakness right out of the gate.
Knowing how aggressive Muschamp liked to play, I would bet we see a fake toss dive in this game. I don't remember us ever faking the pitch, so that should freeze the Secondary and LBs pretty solid.

Donte Jackson runs the kickoff back 102 yards for a TD....the 1st kick return TD in Tiger Stadium by an LSU player in 34 years!

I think LSU will play with a standard I formation for the first quarter unless it's going bad, with some play action and runs. I dont see any reason why we'd try wildcats and read options in Q1 at home with the crowd behind us. I expect a slow first quarter.
I could see this game being a complete reversal of the MSU game, as in halftime could have a sucky score (10-7 LSU or something), and we open up the playbook in the second half. I personally think Q3 will be ugly for auburn.

Jimmy Gilbert to Andy Hamilton for Touchdown!

with runs. Lots of runs. I think we'll get two short yardage passes per drive, but get ready for a LOT of toss plays and read options to LF7

Two toss dives to fournette, then bring in guice for an attempted screen on third down and punt.
