I'm 15 and it felt like someone died in my family. I felt like I should breakdown and cry. Favorite all time Player. Oh yeah and I live in Alabama. Everybody has to repeat the story

My 5 year old cried when I told him. He was Looking forward to meeting him tommarrow. He is a big football fan and loves LSU and HB was his favorite player.

Feel sorry for your kid. Sad story for them for sure.

Fortunately for me, my son is still three months old so I don't really need to explain anything to him....yet.

Kids LOVE honey badger. I've heard of whole teams named The Honey Badgers.

I think every single pee wee football team has a player nicknamed the honey badger.

It's a good point to bring-up the impact this will have on the kids. I'm heartbroken for TM7 but kids that idolize him, it has to be even harder.

You'll ALWAYS be a Tiger to me TM7. You're more LSU than I'll ever be. Thank you for representing us and for your contributions to it becoming DBU.

It's almost like we kinda adopt these kids on the team as our own kids. From the day they sign their LOI, they become family. When the Shady's incident happened, I felt like a pissed off dad. Today, I feel like a pissed off dad again.

No not eveybody is a pothead. Stop say everyone does it.

My oldest daughter has a honeybadger shirt and goes to LSU . She shook her head in disgust and said he is a idiot. No sympathy at all. Mostly pissed at him.

My six year old was disappointed He loved to watch you tube videos of TM7. He wanted to know if he would play for the Saints now, since they break rules too.

He just smiled and went dookie in his diaper, so I guess he is okay with it.

I waited all afternoon for my 13 yr old to get home. I was sure he was gonna be heartbroken. When I told him he gave me this shocked look, dropped his booksack on the floor and said, " At least it wasn't Mettenberger. Do we have anything to eat in the fridge?"

This has the feel of telling kids their pet died. Anybody tell their kids that "He's in a better place"?
