Not how the draft works these days. Anybody drafted in the first 10 rounds will sign. It’s all been negotiated beforehand.

If you were drafted in the first 10 rounds, you already negotiated with a team. Therefore, anyone drafted in the first 10 rounds is signing and won’t be playing college ball next year.

What’s totally false? If you fail to sign someone in the top 10 rounds you lose the slot value. Only 3 or 4 players last year didn’t sign in the first 10 rounds and it’s usually because they find something in their medicals they don’t like or something like that. The chances of a kid signing in the first 10 rounds is damn near 100%. Teams are not going to draft kids and hope they sign in those rounds
