How can anybody realistically think 2016 will be any better?

I would love somebody to explain how and why LSU can win the West next year with all that has transpired the last few weeks. If Les brings in a new OC that's great but that also means Harris has to learn a new system. If Les retains Cam then we see more of the same with maybe a few wrinkles but to think the offense gets much better would be foolish. So how in the hell are we supposed to expect a good year?

It won't be unless a QB currently on the roster rises from the ashes and shows the head and arm of an NFL developed QB. Cam can work with that.

It won't be any better because we will have the same coach running his same 1970s style offense. But hey, everybody is ok with third at best so....

1) We will have a more experienced team.
2) If, big IF, Les will keep his hands off of the offense and let the OC do his job, I believe the offense will be much more productive.

Have you been on this board a lot recently?

Still have lots of sunshine-pumping Les Miles-loving posi-Tigers around.

I think even Miles backers (I used to be one) have to admit at this point the chances of this are approaching 00.00.

If anyone thinks things will better, they are in for a disappointment. Same coaches, philosophies and mostly the same players. I have no faith in our coaches to drastically improve the performance of our current roster.

Majority of team coming back with more experience and older in general. Bama losing 16 of 22 starters. Ole Miss losing most of it's defense. State losing Dak. A&M can't beat LSU with Sumlin. Arky losing qb. Recruiting will add d-line depth and a dominant d-line can mask a sub par lb corps. DB's will be better. The entire offensive production skill player wise stays if Dural decides to stay. Get JD Moore back. Lots of logical reason but i know the negatigers will not focus on logical reasoning and only focus on one reason. Their hatred of Les Miles.

It's realistic to think Harris will be better next year as a junior. He regressed since the bye week but as a junior he is poised to make a leap next year. He has all the tools and for most of the year looke pretty good.

The entire offense should be better next year.

Defensively I have no idea.

As far as the rest of the conference goes, miss st, ole miss, Bama and Arkansas will all be transitioning from 5th year senior starters to new QBs. Next year could be a very good year if Harris improves.

I think the rest of the west takes a step back next year and LSU takes a step forward.

More mature QB
Leonard Fournette/Derrius Guice
Another year to grasp the defensive system
Most complete recruiting class in several years

College players and teams are much better when they are upperclassmen driven. When you have more Jr's and Seniors playing even a team like Duke a couple years ago can make a run. Young players make mental mistakes. When you have a lot of young, inexperienced players you get a lot of mistakes. Harris has started all of 12 games his entire career! They will improve and on top of that, everyone else is losing a ton. Ole Miss is losing all of its impact players. Alabama is losing a lot. State is losing Dak, etc etc. The state of our program is on the rise.

You fricked up the echo chamber. Damn you. You're just a Les apologist who accepts mediocrity. You are the reason we'll never win a 4th national championship.

The performance of Brandon Harris in the aTm game put a lot of doubts in my mind about this offense improving much next season, he looked really bad in that game.
