I haven't posted here in a while because of the middle school drama bullshite. But, just had to come back to say that no matter what you think about Paul and this program, all Tigers fans should be stoked tonight. A good outing by Walker Sunday, then you've just won a series on the road against a top 10 RPI team and we're right where we want to be. Go Tigers!
Eta: BTW, that was one hell of a game to watch between 2 good teams with really good pitching tonight.

I don't know who their sunday guy is bet I would bet my left nut he isn't as good as Walker. Good chance to win the series.

this board needs good posters like you man. precisely for the reason you mentioned; the middle school preteen girl drama bullshite. and the "perienial coach haters".
yes, this team is not as good as some of the teams we've fielded in the past but it's still a top 15 team in the country and has some talent that can win any game they play. there is no telling how we'll do in the post season; it might get hot at the right time.

I was impressed how Lange battled back and how Hess took over where he left off. Hess gives up a leadoff double in the eighth and strands him on third. Coomes came up big at first late in the game though.
I am still baffled how Lange runs his pitch counts up so high. He was over 80 pitches through 4 innings. He has got to throw into his defense more.

he drives me crazy. every pitch is like pulling a tooth. he gets too fine with his location and ends up missing a lot thereby running counts up. starting 0-2 means nothing, he'll still go 3-2 on the guy.
imo, he doesn't have a good enough fast ball or change up to be super effective. his curve is basically all he's got and that's not gonna bode well in the pros
