I think the freshman are better than all but Godchaux right now. Those two would start for most teams right now. We miss CL's experience.

I will not totally dismiss him though. He was not great, but solid.

Bigger than I thought it would be BUT the defense has still been very good. It's just tough because he was an experienced, solid guy and depth on the DL is always welcome, even if someone challenged him for snaps.

Dude is a starting senior. Granted we have depth there this year but he was a starter for a reason. Dude has game. You will see him Sundays in the future.

I don't think anybody doubts he has an opportunity to play on Sundays, but we have other guys who will probably project to have even better performances in their NFL games.

I didn't say he wasn't being missed. I was just saying the offense being better is taking some pressure off the defense and helps with a loss of a guy that adds depth.
