How bad do you think Chavis wants to shut down the Vols?

Does he have a grudge or will he take it easy on them?

Chavis is paid incentives based on how LSU 2010 defense performs. What do you think Chavis wants to do?

Why would he take it easy on them? I expect him to shut him down like any other team

He was with UT a long time but I promise he would love for our defense to shove their play right up their arse! Chavis is a Tiger now and he will smell blood!

If he does happen to have any emotional ties with tenn... He will want to kick arse and make people wish he was still there. Not try to make them gla he's gone

Considering there aren't many games we can win if our defense doesn't have an OUTSTANDING performance, I'd say pretty bad.

But in all seriousness, while I think it will certainly be a unique game for him, it will probably be very emotional for him when he makes the trip to Knoxville next season. Can't imagine what it must be like coaching against them in Knoxville... it's his alma mater and he coached there something like 20 years.

Just a thought. It was the fans at Tenn that gave him the nickname "3rd & Chavis". I think he would love for Tenn not to convert one 3rd down.

He wants to put another nail in Hamilton's coffin. Shutting out the Vols will remind everyone of the whole Kiffin fiasco.
