Been working on this the better part of ten months, huh? Interesting!

With regard to playing between the hedges, previous years have little predictive value for the upcoming game. This is probably the gambler's Number One fallacy. It's why bookies drive Cadillacs.

Last year, if we had had a seasoned QB, we would have beaten Bama by 3 TDs. Not much else has changed, except that by the Bama game we are likely to have a very seasoned QB who knows the game and sees the field well.

Florida will be a bloodbath, but what it won't be is a gimme for the Gators. I rate the game close to a toss-up. It may be the best game on TV all year.

Auburn may be down at the moment, but they will play us a hard close game. They may be the SECs wounded animal; and backed into a corner they will play us to the wire.
