most bubble teams have one really, really ugly loss on their resume. hopefully this is our lone blemish. need to take care of business in sec play and not lose to the mississippi state, texas a&m and south carolinas this year and we'll still be firmly on the bubble once everything shakes out. a win tuesday would be a great way to get things rolling

realitiger out

We needed this, I'd rather be a 10 or 11 seed than the 8 or 9 seed.

Our stud PF shite the bed in this one. Not sure what the reason, but JOB has not impressed me this yrar.
On the other hand mickey was great and didnt get a touch the last half of the 2nd half.
This team needs to learn from this.

Oh and hate takin a fukn nba 3 down 2.

Lack of execution on fast breaks drove me nuts tonight. Hickey got shut down 3 or 4 times with 2 on 1 (or better) breaks. Leave it for the trailer once or twice!

Our rebounding was horrible. I don't even want to look to see how many offensive rebounds Rhode Island had.

I completely agree. Now there is a good bit of pressure not to lose to Georgia, Auburn, Vandy, etc

The problem is, while Butler is an "ok" win and UAB may turn in to a better win as the season goes forward, LSU really doesn't have much to hang its hat on in the OOC part of the schedule. If they could have gotten through without a "bad" loss then they probably would have been ok. But now, UT and Mizzou almost become must wins. And like you said, LSU can't lose to the bottom dwellers of the SEC.
