Bandwagon that was more than enough room.

For the people who have been steering the wagon, for the people who occupied the wagon since it's departure, rather arrival of Michael Ford, and for the people who are just starting to realize his skills.

#42 Michael Ford

Better runner, just needs to improve his blocking, that's all.

We had this same thread after the first 2 games of the season. Ford and Ware are kind of like Lee and Jefferson. They both offer different things and LSU will need both of them to continue their offensive success.

frick the Michael Ford bandwagon. I'm on the LSU team Bandwagon and there is plenty of room.

Ware and Ford can not be compared, they bring something different to the table. Ware wears defenses down because he is an absolute warbeast running the ball. His style is made for teams that aren't designed to stop the run, he kills them with his tuff in between the tackles running. Ford was great against Bama because his speed killed them, get outside and break off a good 10 to 15 yard runs.

Bama's slow DLine couldn't react fast enuff to catch him in time, but a team like Bama stops Spencer because their big lineman and LB's are made for that type of running. So it's nice to have both.

Ive grabbed the wheel a few times myself. If someone would go back to the play by play, and take out the times they run him up the middle, FORD WIDE is the most consistant and productive play we have this season (probably over 10yrds per carry outside). We just havent used it enough to get the home runs. Ebody sees its right there, he just hasnt got the carries especially late when the defense is spent and our O-line and Ware have pounded the living hell out of them for 2+ qtrs. He has vision and speed and would get 100+ a game if he got 20 carries, but he's only got 10/game. Not to take anything away from Ware. He is the man and has carried a heavy load. We need him 2. Just not on the outside.

I agree they're two totally different type of players but Ford reminds me of all the lighting quick people Florida haz had. He's fast as hell but Ware wears the opposition down no doubt. Ford is a beast though, just appreciate them both
