I heard the new principal is an LSU season ticket holder from Covington. This might bode well for LSU recruiting.

Apart from Sarah Jessica, who has come out of Hoover? I know they're a perennial power, but I can't think of any big names.

But now that they are not cheating any more they won't be the same powerhouse school they were.
Since I live right by hoover I'll try to find out about the principal. I've got a neighbor who is a teacher there at hoover university.

You would think a 6 time 6A Alabama State champions program might produce some pretty good college talent.
I just think its funny that the principal is an LSU guy, because generally don't like LSU around here.

Chad Jackson WR who went to UF....hasn't done much in the NFL though but was solid for the Gaytors

Former Florida receiver Chad Jackson was a highly touted recruit out of Hoover.

Chad Jackson, JPW, Kerry Murphy and a few other decent prospects have come out of there.
I would say they are good for one DIV-1 calibre player a year, which isn't that great considering their size (2500 students), and definitely not "pipeline" material as the Bama fans will claim.
Hoover is basically a microcosm of football in general in Alabama - more hype and soap opera drama than actual substance. That two-a-days television crap was utterly pathetic.
