I don't think Mickey or Martin are going anywhere...

I'm still counting on Gray to take care of the ball A LOT better.

If that all happens we're in for a fun year, I'd imagine.

Martin is 6'10 and athletic as hell the NBA is all about this, mickey doesn't have a nba position he's undersized

Mickey is 6'8, 235; his size is fine, and with a mid range game along with very good blocking ability, can play PF.

What is Martin's position? His only consistent game is driving to the hoop and scoring, he has no 3 point range, he has no consistent mid range game.

Martin is definitely athletic, but with no diverse game NBA teams arent going Tyrus Thomas and pick him in the Top 10. Mickey is very athletic too and is a much more consistent player with a much more diverse game than Martin right now.

Much needed. Especially when we're normally hoping to be a bubble team...we need our RPI and SOS to be higher than it bas been in the past.

I wouldn't even care if we were 8-5 going into league play.
A) it looks better than being 12-1 with 0-1 top 100 rpi wins vs likely 1-3 top 50 wins
B) it'll have us prepared against league teams. We can't shite the bed next year against bottom feeders. I wanna see us get to the point where we are elite. A team in the bottom half means automatic 10 point win.

As it stands today, I feel like every single league game this year will be tough. Many games a coin flip. Just a few plays may be the difference between 13-5 and 9-9.

This layoff has has been killer. We started to look elite the last games against UMass and WVU and I really want that to carry over these next few weeks and we dont revert back "playing down to the opponent" every game.

Sam Houston State only has 1 player over 6'7 at 6'11 and plays just 15.5 minutes a game, we need our size to really dominate this game. Sam houston State platoons 9-10 guys

I like it. Hopefully the high-profile opponent is along the lines of a Duke, UNC or Kansas type.

I doubt it would be any of those teams. EVERYONE wants to have Duke, UNC, Kansas on their home schedule

I wouldn't be shocked though to see someone like Texas, Memphis, Arizona St. on the schedule. Also, there might be a relationship between LSU and Syracuse due to the football scheduling.

I don't think Duke really does home and homes any more.

I'd imagine that basketball teams are as reluctant to play in Cameron as football teams are to play in Tiger Stadium. I wouldn't want to go to Cameron and get a near-certain L if I don't have to do so.

People want to see Simmons. I would suspect we'll be on espn quite a few times next year

Judging by the tentative stuff I saw, one of these high profile opponents will be Washington. Meh.

I'm honestly not sure what games you've been watching.

That's fair. We don't hang out or anything so I can see why you wouldn't know that.

Very true. Current NCAA RPI of 18 for the Tigers. Those last two wins were huge.

Wasn't there some talk last year of a home and home with Gonzaga?
