When I got the notification on my phone I was actually excited, then I get on here and it's as if we just hired Jordan Jefferson as Head Coach..
Question:
What has been one of the most consisent units in college football over the past 5 years? Alabama Linebackers
Oh yeah, our defense is now controlled by someone who knows the ins and outs of the Alabama football team.... Bout to be some fun years at LSU boys.

He's only coached the LB for 1-2 years

Steele was the DC at Clemson from 2009-2012, and was then fired because his defensive units were some of the worst in the country.
Before that, Saban demoted Steele from the DC position at Alabama in 2007.
The guy has been an undeniable failure in every DC position he has held.

Umm Baylor fans are laughing at us.
He went 1-31 vs Big12 and was fired. Then went to Clemson and was fired as DC after getting beat 70-0. He is a legit LB coach..Thats it.

Agreed. This guy was defensive coordinator and associate head coach at Bama. He then went to Clemson as DC I don't know why he left Clemson, but Bama made room for him to get him back. I'm not down on this.
