When i thought of the culture issues this team had, Max Johnson wasnt one of them. Something feels off

This sort of thing needed to happen following the Les Miles era, but we kicked the can down the road instead. Granted, it worked out for a while; but a reboot is needed, from time to time, in order to maintain a standard of excellence.

Max Johnson leaving is a surprise for sure. We don't know what else is happening behind the scenes. Maybe Brennan is staying. Maybe his Dad had already been talking to other schools for a couple of months.

If the rumor is true that he’s about to have shoulder surgery, then nothing is off at all. He realizes he won’t start next year and needs to transfer.
