I'm sure he's learned a lot from his previous experiences? We like to give guys a second chance here at LSU. Just because you failed previously as a head coach doesn't mean you can't win here. What if Turtle promises to let his assistant coaches coach?

I thought Schwanke was a hell of a hitting coach. I think he is a scout now and maybe as a hitting academy or something.
It has been so long ago, I forgot...but did he leave because he and Skip didn't get along? Or what happened? He didn't leave to become a head coach, best I remember..

Fun fact. Jim Schwanke's son plays for Wichita State and pitched against LSU. Of course, I'm sure that most of you who follow LSU baseball already knew that.

His son was actually here a few weeks ago. He plays for Wichita State.
