Yea, not buying that. Unless he comes out and says he is a moron.

Dooley refused to bring his team back out of the tunnel to allow LSU the extra point try.

Question is, would our coaches have been smart enough to just take a knee?? I would hope so...

Dooley was the only reason they were ever even in that game in the first place. Go luck at the spread on the game. It wasn't even supposed to be close. For the second straight year he came in to Death Valley and coached circles around Miles. Better watch out once he gets a little talent and experience over there in Knoxville.

can't you say the same about the u.a.b. coach against dooley? he came into his house, less talent, big underdog, and took dooley to two o.t's.

the s.e.c. is shaking in their boots about dooley. 500 record in the wac and his lack of coaching ability just cost his team the game.

Dude I think you will have a different view of him if you listen to his presser on Monday. I forgive him for his comments during his post game interview (in the heat of a very cruel moment).

He's not some super coach is all in getting at. The people saying lsu won't beat him again are ignoring Dooley's "bigger than Miles" blunder.

What can you say about Saban's first years at LSU and Alabama? The loss at home to UAB in his first year at LSU, and the loss at home to ULM in his first year at Bama. At least Dooley actually won his battle against the underdog.

No...turnovers and penalties were the only reason they were ever in that game in the first place.

I think LSU should just hire the UAB coach - he has the right credentials.

After all he almost beat Dooley at his own house and we know how big an almost-win is - why it is as good as a 2 win.

Agreed, LSU will compete with anyone, anytime, anywhere, in most any year... I've been watching them since the 60s. But I see Dooley's potential of being a great coach.

Dooleys team also had only 10 men on the field TWICE in overtime against UAB

He also admitted to having 10 men on the field at one point during the LSU game.

So our even more poorly coached team that continuously turns the ball over and shoots them self in the foot is why they were in the game

For everyone tripping about the T-Bob thing, offsetting penalty, extra free play.

At some point the players need to take responsibility for their frick ups....which i think is what the players only meeting was about. We had seniors get false start penalties. I know you hate Miles and all but come on.

Either way...it had nothing to do with Dooley outcoaching anyone. Im amazed that some people hate Miles so much that they'll try to rationalize an OPPOSING COACH'S massive screw up.

I said nothing about T-Bob. I agree totally with the refs handling of everything in the final seconds of the game.

Lsu would have never attempted the kick. We would have kneeled the xp.
