It baffles me how on a LSU fan website, you have just as many down votes as up. Im positive that many on here wish that record was reversed so they can say "told you"

Do you think Jimbo's wife will lend her trainer to rehab his quarterback?

Jimbo is one of the best coaches in college football and he lost a game to the best coach in football and his #1 ranked team. No shame there. Not sure what Herman's excuse is, Texas has had 3 top 25 recruiting classes in a row and deep pockets. They should be able to roll out of bed and beat Maryland. Maybe someone can prove me wrong, but maybe Houston head coaches are automatically cursed for their next head coaching job.

Yeah, and to think that Jimbo got destroyed by a cupcake! The angry mob of Nole fans will surround his house with torches and pitchforks and demand his head. He'll surely be fired for such an inexcusable loss. What a miserable coach he is.

I'm so glad you submitted such a deep treatise of genius with the rest of us on the rant!

You can always tell the posters who don't know anything about the coaching profession. We have a portion of the fanbase that believes coaching football is equal to quantum physics when the truth is there's only a certain amount of football to know and college level coaches for the most part all know the same things. If you gave Nick Saban and coach O a football exam the test scores would be within a couple points of each other. The trick is getting players and getting a staff who can translate their thought to the field. Look at Os history and the staffs he's been a part of, they're all championship level teams and those head guys didn't hire him because he talks funny. He failed at Ole Miss with a program that was set up to fail and since then all he's done is win. This narrative that he's a terrible coach is so stupid Mike Ditka is a hall of fame coach and was absolutely terrible in New Orleans. How good was Joe Gibbs the second time around? Did Bill Walsh win anything at Stanford? Coach O knows more football than Les Miles ever will but to date Miles has been more successful and there's a thousand different reasons for that with none of them about caching ability. Coach O is doing fine he's put together a great staff and is getting great kids so let's keep winning and hold off on judging things we have no clue about.
