after the latest events, I am convinced that Cameron actually could run an offense, but that Coach Miles interferes and puts the handcuffs on everybody. except the RB, but he stymies him in a different way by his boing play calling. he requires him to keep running thru a wall.

so I have no confidence in miles to allow cam and etling to move the offense.

So, my only hope is that when Miles takes the keys away from CAm and/or Etling the next time, Cam says, "Les, if I don't run this offense neither of us will be employed here very much longer. Let me run the damn offense or i'm outta here."

I know, it's not much hope.

Why do you think Etling went into the game last week?

If it is true that Cameron has been handcuffed by Miles this entire time, Cam Cameron is the biggest pussy of a coach in the entire football world. Would show that he is only here to collect a $1.5MM check annually (which shouldn't surprise anyone).

I really believe Cameron can run this offense. Ive seen multiple times when they show Cameron in the booth, getting annoyed and agitated, Maybe Brandon takes too long to relay the playcall or there is an interference (Miles).

you watch too much TV. this isn't the way things work. the man is not going to relinquish a 1.3 million dollar gig and a hefty buy out. would you?

note: if you say yes, we will know you are a teenager still at home on the tit.

I still think going to a spread type offense is the way of the future. We keep recruiting these qb's that ran spread in high school, and expect them to be successful in a pro style. I know everyone sees this and that is the problem when you can't develop a qb.

I don't even care any more who is to blame - Cam or Les. I am sick of watch this stale 1970's offense run with a dual threat QB (Harris) stuffed into a pocket passing role. I'm tired of not being able to throw down the middle of the field and watching every throw go outside the hashes. I'm tired of watching us struggle to move the ball against 8 and 9 man fronts because every knows what is coming.

We are never going to win the SEC again with the archaic, boring offense. It's time for Les and Cam to both go.

It was uncharacteristic of Les to pull Harris so early. I was surprised to see 16 on the field

hey, man, I said there's no much hope (chance).

another factor - they are supposed to be friends. it's possible a real friend could try to jolt his buddy for his own good. Still, I know there is not much chance of this.

but it's a thought that could keep me hoping, instead of accepting fate.

I have defended coach Miles for the last 5 years. No more. I am done. I would like to see us be successful this year, but until a change is made expect a 7-5 year.

Why I speculate that Miles interferes with the offense, I'll refer back to one of the first games last year when they got down on the goal line and we had to call a timeout and camera was focused on miles and he was looking at the play sheet and seemed to be arguing. They come out of timeout and ran fournette which was obvious/predictable (miles'call) and came back and ran play action roll out to the tight end for a touchdown (Cameron's call). My opinion, you can agree or disagree, I don't really care, just think that's the kind of crap that goes on and hinders our offense.

Agree. Miles IMO shouldnt be anywhere near a play sheet. Sometimes OCs try to get too cute when playcalling but most of the time they know how to do their job...

Les messed over him. Instead of reestablishing himself, now he's probably going to drop down to a position coach.

Wha? Dude has been the highest paid coordinator for years and for no results. If anything Les did him a huge favor. Now he can just retire.

Eventually, the NFL will be full of spread offenses too. They basically have no choice. Kids are now learning these spread based offenses as soon as they step on the field, and grow up in them. The guys that make the NFL were the best in college, HS, peewee, etc... More often these days, these guys are coming to the NFL having been in a spread offense their whole playing careers.

Because they decided to make a change at the QB position??

The actual play calling was no different, despite what this place thinks or remembers.
