He had to stall to make sure it didn't hit him. You can't send him on that. Reed has a good arm in CF too

We have several times this year (less than two outs with the runner at 2nd having to freeze), with bad results.

I figure that you knew but you will be surprised at the people on here that think that on a play like that Cain actually has time to tell the runner to go or not. People were complaining about him on the squeeze play last night. Those types of plays are not on your third base coach.
