They were both wrong and we're seeing it now. With all of the talent that we lose this year If CLM isn't replaced it's going to be the 90's all over again

Herbstreit's history with LSU fans notwithstanding, he's spot-on with this quote:
Even with the deficiencies in our game plan and at QB, we still should have won the game. But LSU failed to show up, on national TV, with all summer to prepare. For most of the game, most of the players acted like they didn't give a shite.
Yesterday on the scoreboard, a poster who's a former LSU offensive lineman himself called out the OL in terms so strong it might earn me a vacation if I repeated them. But I can't disagree with anything he said. We have problems much deeper than poor quarterback plan and an antiquated offensive philosophy.
quote:
Wisconsin deserved to win the game, they outplayed them, they wanted it more, had more passion, played with a chip on their shoulder, at the end they got it done. On one hand, there’s a story about where does LSU go from here ... "

Not sure we watched same game, cuz LSU had no business winning that game...they were outplayed and outcoached in nearly every phase

And still lost by two. That was a winnable game if the team had showed up.

Identify that poster or link the thread and post. I'd really like to read his thoughts.

IF I picked all the correct lotto numbers last nite, I would be a multi-millionaire today

I think this will be a surprisingly successful season despite the loss.
Does surprisingly successful mean that Les is gone?
