USC needs like 2 really good and deep classes to match the likes of LSU and Bama in terms of depth.

But they will get that. Next year might be premature, even. We'll see.

3 classes of 15 schollies each =/= gaining depth

When they can start pulling in normal sized classes there is no doubt they will be good again

This is because they will play both offense and defense unlike most pac12 teams and they will be the only team able pull talent to benefit both sides of the ball

They wont be focused so much on a scheme as they are on talent. Which will be in harsh comparison to the rest of the conference, especially with the recent influx of coaches

We all sat back and forgot about how much we hate USC and thought that the suck fest was over. It was just the beginning and ESPN needed to go on a 2 year journey to start the USC obsession again. AND HERE WE GO!!!!

quote:

but they are stacked

If they so stacked why are they 5th in their conference in rushing O and 57th in the nation, 4th in their conference in passing O and 15 in the nation, 4th in their conference in total D and 54th in the nation, 9th in their conference in pass D and 101 in the nation, and 7th in their conference in T/O margin and 68th in the nation.

I'm not an ESPN expert guy, but looks like to me then have a good passing attack in a conference that doesn't play good pass D.

Not trying to be jerk like and not saying they don't have some talent, but what conference or national performance shows them to be stacked?

So who does Herbie think would win in his fantasy matchup between bama and usc? Why even compare usc to LSU and not one loss western division runner up alabama. Herbie, you and your boys at the network only have about 3 more weeks to protect that bama image.

As for usc, I hope they get their wish to play LSU next year. I don't care which QB they bring, their lack of scholly depth will get them beat.

LSU would absolutely murder USC. Any notion to the contrary is utterly rediculous.

There's one big obstacle in between the current trojans and a return to 04 form. Their coach is lane kiffen now, not Pete Carroll
