To Tyler
He couldn't have chosen a better school with better fans, hopefully he gets to see what it's like to play in a regional and super regional here, I think the fans are gonna love this kid for his glove and the scrappiness i've heard so much about, sounds alot like a David Eckstein

That's easy, ASU. If your son was any good at baseball he'd be playing for Carolina. Since he isn't, that means you only have one chance to support a national champion this year, ASU.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA
But if he was REALLY REALLY good he could play at Appy State...
Jealousy is a funny thing.

This is easy you pull for App.St. See you can root for them and be guilt free because there is no way they will beat LSU, but by doing so you make your daughter happy. Your son will understand because he knows the Tigers will win.

Agree, pull for App, make your daughter happy, LSU wins anyway.

LSU. Tell your daughter you prefer winners

just do like my dad, and pull for the team that wins.

bigpopie, congrats on your son choosing LSU to further his baseball career. It's a great move, and one he will be truly happy with. Fair warning though - if he doesn't play to perfection every game, there will be folks on this board who will rip his abilities mercilessly. Don't take it personally - they live for this and it makes them feel important.

ASU National Champs, my son turned down offers from UNC, as a matter of fact he was the first 2008 offered by UNC, but he wanted to play for LSU, he may not be any good as you say, but I guess time will tell.
Oh by the way they (UNC) took us to the Ohio State/ UNC basketball game at UNC, remember when Odom was there? and tried to get him to committ, great game, but LSU was in his heart.
Believe it or not, not all us North Carolina people bleed carolina blue, some bleed LSU purple and gold.
I believe I'll root for LSU, just wan't tell my daughter.

It seems your son has more promise considering he is a ball player! Def root for the tigers!!!

Imagine LSU losing, how do you feel? Now imagine them winning, how do you feel? If you didn't feel a difference, wait til the game and deep down without realizing it you'll start rooting for one or the other.
