The kid from Stanford should get a lot of votes from the left coasters. Henry has been the most impressive down the stretch and is the likely favorite, barring some type of flub in the SECCG.
Cook's competition pales in comparison to the other three.

Considering he's got one less game and had to play against that Bama front, that's impressive as hell.

I think the statistics show Cook has actually faced the better run defenses, on average, than the other contenders by a long shot.

Have you always been a FSU fan? I was a huge fan growing up, but I've wavered in the last 10 years

Full Disclosure: Yes. My sister was much older than me growing up and she went to FSU. She took me to the games and it was during their dominance in the 90's. How could I not be a fan?

There's a reason Tebow won it on an 8-4 team.

Offensive penalties killed any chance he had at the Heisman. How many 40+ yard runs did he have called back because of a backside hold? He'd at least have the top 2 rushing performances in LSU history if it wasn't for holding calls.

That's a good one, too. I know Cook has had a couple called back for penalties but I don't think nearly as many as Fournette.

It actually does bug me that we canceled the McNeese game.

Cook has actually faced better defenses from P5 opponents

In conference games

Henry 179.2 ypg
Fournette 149.8 ypg

Not even close.

Mcneese would have had to have a bye that week also. I seriously doubt they did but I could be wrong.

It happens to every player at some point, but it just seems like it happens 1-2 times a game to Fournette. then, because of our depth at RB he doesn't see the field for the rest of the series. So, while it happens to other players, they get the benefit of at least getting a few more touches & yards in the same series.

I agree.

I just don't know what happened to this season. It seemed like NOTHING could frick it up. This season has been a disaster.

What if you took out each player's worst game since LF had the unfortunate disadvantage of playing Bama

Their bye week was 11/14; LSU played Ark that weekend

It has turned into an irrelevant award. It should go to the best player in college football. Instead, it goes to the leading offensive player on a top 4 team. That is it. That's the criteria. I think Fournette is the best player in college football, but also believe Christian Mccaffrey should get serious consideration. I dont think Henry is a special player at all.

Yeah, the Maxwell is a better indication of who the best player is now. Heisman is all hype now

They were in the backfield as soon as he touched the ball.

So you believe Manti Teo and AJ McCarron were the best players in 2012 and 2013?
