60 beers in a week? That's 2 days for me. I'm the lightweight in my group.

The Midwest consumers more beer than the rest of the country. If you tour the AB brewery; they will tell you that their underground storage facility can hold the equivalent of half a million cases of beer and If the brewery stopped production, the storage facility would be empty is less than a day.

Not totally sure what to believe, but Chris Drosner ( @WSJbeerbaron), known as the Beer Baron who has a column in the Wisconsin State Journal, said the article about a 60-pack is fake.

New Glarus makes this...Best beer I have ever had, and you cannot buy anywhere but WI.

The allure of New Glarus distributing its beer in-state only makes Spotted Cow beer a popular get, but I've always found it to be a tad overrated.

With heavier meals, such as burgers, brats, fish fries, etc., Spotted Cow is an excellent pairing due to its ease of going down without the intense flavor, though there is a decent amount of carbonation.

Overall, solid beer that is fairly-priced at liquor/grocery/convenience stores + bars.

They can have the beer, we've got the bourbon

I'd rather smell like Makers than Coors....

You guys realize it is the women in WI that drink coors light, right? Just like the picture shows.

They make the 60 packs for the women, becuase the majority of women stay home from the end September thru the end of March because it is snowing and cold. They dont have to go to the store for beer more than twice a week this way.

But then I would be drinking Coors Light. If they had the banquets, I'd be all in.

There are many things about that collegespun article and the images used that prove it's fake.

And while I do love my craft beer, I admit that during a hot late summer tailgate, domestic lights do have their place. And that is beer pong, flip cup, bongs, boat races, etc.

I'd send 60 beers to their graves everyday if I had to look at the women those guys do.

Wisconsin, as a state, can't shake this perception, but it's far from the truth if you travel to Madison and explore the University.

Like every school in the B1G, you're bound to have an attractive student population when your enrollment exceeds 40,000.

Madison is just 140 miles north of Chicago. The university gets students from all over Chicagoland. Madison is also just a few hours SE of Minneapolis. Like many HS students in Wisconsin who go to the University of Minnesota to "get out," you see the same exodus from the Twin Cities. It helps that Minnesota and Wisconsin have tuition reciprocity. Wisconsin brings quite a few students from New York and Southern California, too.

When my buddies who went to other schools do their ranking of the B1G by female attractiveness, UW is usually in the top 4. Others often included are Indiana and MSU.

Hey Hoopsgalore! I'll be staying in the Neenah/Appleton area starting the Thursday before the game.

What are the best sports bars or just beer pubs in that area? It looks like there are quite a few and I'll probably hang there Thursday/Friday and go to Green Bay Friday night/Saturday.

Louisiana is fatter than Wisconsin.

Plus, do you have any blondes?

That said, nothing beats a hot southeren belle IMO.

You do have better women , I have seen it at the Chimes. But there are some hotties in Wisconsin too.

That's a lot of beer. However, $58 is high for 60 coors lights. That's a dollar a piece!

Wisconsin has always had very pretty women but when I went to school there years ago many were carrying around an extra 20 lbs or more. When I moved to Arizona and saw the ASU coeds I thought "this is what college women are supposed to look like". Now when I visit Madison and the campus for football games it appears they are much fitter than in years past. There are plenty of pretty women in WI.
