honestly i'm not sure being a big guy even had much to do with it. a good attitude and a few smiles and taking their taunting goes a long way towards making a better situation in a hostile crowd. at the end of the day we're all there to have fun and give each others fans a little shite in a lighthearted way for the most part. theres always gonna be that 5% of fans that take it way too seriously and cause problems but the best thing the rest of us can do is avoid them.

its because people cant take any taunting or anything like that without getting offended. if i'm in the swamp i expect a hostile environment, i'm not gonna act like someone personally attacked me when the insults and gator baits are flying. it isnt personal, its a football game and i'm wearing the other teams colors. i'm pretty sure none of them want me to die in a car crash on the way home, they want to beat my team in a football game. today was the kinda game where me and the florida fans near me wouldve ended up joking about which team wanted to let the other team win more. every time florida had a chance to take the lead they committed a penalty that killed their drive. and we literally tried to sit on our 17-3 lead an entire half even tho we had just given up back to back touchdown drives and our defense was clearly gonna be exhausted if we went 3 and out again
