What does 5 years without a win in a BCS bowl say?

That we're not the superhuman band of football mutants in this state that some idiots seem to actually believe?

That's exactly the argument a blind moron would make.

Do you seriously believe that our talent is that much better than other programs at this level?

Yes?

Well who do you think got them here.

Moron.

Name the coach that would walk into this job after the best coach in our history was fired for not being good enough *it's the same thing* and be able to pull off what he has.

He deserves a LARGE raise.

So by not giving him a raise we are firing him? Faulty logic is faulty.

How many BCS bowls has Texas won in the last four years with all those stellar recruiting classes cherry picked from mecca itself?

Don't worry, I'll wait.

why exactly is texas being thrown into this? they have nothing to do with it.

oh wait, it's about talent right?

so it's their coaching that's to fault.

so if they have none...and we have none...

then...nm.

If we have the option to keep him and we don't? Yeah, we might as well have fired him.

And that would be the stupidest thing this program EVER DID.

The point was that UT has recruited slightly better than LSU over the past few years, yet Mack has managed to turn Texas into an afterthought. Les has made LSU a perennial contender. If any idiot could win with talent then Mack would be running out of fingers to put rings on.

Eggzactly. And anybody that thinks even for a second that LSU can draw from anything like the pool of talent that will kill somebody in order to go to Texas...

ain't working with a lot of reality.

Miles won't leave because even if Arkansas is offering slightly more money than LSU, the job at Arkansas is a hell of a lot harder. The juice ain't worth the squeeze. Miles has it made at LSU, and if you are gullible enough to believe he'd leave, you're an idiot.

+1
Anyone that says that Miles deserves a raise is likely young, but for sure a moron and understands nothing about performance compensation.

At this level, a little more money will not buy EFFORT or LOYALTY.
