Nice troll job by the OP. Drive another wedge right through our fan base once again when we should be preparing for a great class and unifying the fan base.

Here's to pulling for the LSU QB whatever his name, skill set or race might be. As a kid, whoever lined up behind center for LSU was my hero. As an adult, WHOEVER lines up behind center for LSU has my full support.

I would be willing to agree with you if at any time the coaches have alluded to this in any sort of way. From reports back in spring and fall, Rettig was way behind Rivers, Jennings, and, Mett. I also think the coaches don't trust Rivers at all.
Harris will not be starting nor splitting time. It will be a Jennings/Rettig battle and so far, Jennings has the upper hand on him til further notice from the coaches.

I'm a white guy who thinks this is a one-horse race. In fairness to the knuckleheads calling for Rettig, they're probably the stereotypical fans calling for the backup, rather than racists.
I've seen Rettig once - in an ALl Star game - and my heart sunk, his performance was so bad. For the last year I've just been praying that AJ is good. I'm satisfied so far. Against Arky he probably came in so suddenly there was no time to think. They probably ran simple plays with one option each. Against Iowa he probably was trying to make too many decisions and had brain-lock. Typical freshman progression.
