Have you knocked Rudy off your all-time 5 and put Ben Simmons on it yet?

If he ends the season with his same or better stat line, it'll be hard to not think of Simmons as a top 5 LSU player of all time.

Shame he will probably never hang a banner in the PMAC for Simmons, probably won't need a degree and it would be more based on his pro career than his one and done year.

I dunno.....I have a hard time putting someone top 5 who was only here for one year.

But if the criteria is skill then yea one might have to.

So Anthony Davis couldn't crack Ky's top whatever list?

Let's see him compete against some real opposition.

The real question is how much will his first shoe contract be worth even before he gets drafted in June.

Ben Simmons hasn't done shite yet. The potential is there, but I don't see JJ parlaying Ben Simmon's one year at LSU into anything but a missed opportunity.

I'm talking about my personal top 5. No way I let a one-and-done in...

In a couple years, very few will remember that Ben was here. He'll be a great NBA player that only played one year in college on an unrecognized losing team. Nothing against LSU but he will have no LSU legacy.

Rudy will forever be on the all time stories starting 5. Guy has some of the best tales I've ever heard anyone tell, and is one of the best dudes to boot

If we don't make the tournament this year no way does he get on there. But a deep run and it could make a case.

I wouldn't care if Ben turns out to be better than Lew Alcindor, a one-and-done player would never crack my all-time top-5 list.

I will if he has a 32 rebound game. Rudy did that at under 6'7".
