I did find it kind of weird that we played Sandstorm, because that's South Carolina's thing.

Absolutely love that we play The Second Line.

I giggled when there was a review at the end of regulation. The team is pumped up, crowd going crazy and then the dj hits a country song

Why do you feel a need to find something to complain about?

Someone is going to have to explain the allure of that song to me. It sounds akin to nails on a chalkboard

I want us to be thorough, we have complained about everything but the bulbs in the light fixtures and the music.

The music selection is dog shite. Everyone knows the culture that surrounds basketball and the younger crowd is hip hop and the same type of music that gets you pumped up in a moment... but here they are playing their favorite country greatest hits cd and now that's what I call music 5. The band kills the atmosphere and mood all the time too.

Vitale said he liked the music during one the 20 times the refs stopped the game to go to the monitors.

So there’s that going for us.

Kentucky has better light bulbs. Why can't Alleva buy some like that?

No I don't mean "Calling Baton Rouge" but they can kick that one to the desk drawer also for basketball games.

I thought the music was actually better today than it has been. The song selection wasn’t different necessarily but the timing seemed better.

And the “country greatest hits” were Calling Baton Rouge and Louisiana Saturday Night. If you don’t get why we would play those songs then I’m not sure what to tell you. They usually play Calling Baton Rouge at the under 4 media timeout. it also is played pregame. Due to the OT and excessive reviews there was extra time to fill so it got played again. Not sure why anyone is complaining. It keeps the crowd energized and singing along.

Calling Baton Rouge is the most overplayed LSU song. I can take it once or twice a game but lately it’s been 3-4 times per basketball game. And the baseball games it’s even more often but I understand it more there.

Just can we get some more variety ??

Basketball is not a “country” sport. It’s much more a culturally urban game and that should be reflected in the music choices. Play some hip hop and get everybody fired up. The student section was ready to explode, but Calling Baton Rouge and to a lesser extent because it was only played onceLouisiana Saturday Night were extremely disappointing choices.

Nice For What, open with that “Louisiana shite” line, woulda had that place nuts.

I get that you have to appease the older audience but cmon at least like Thunderstruck or some other hype rock, level with me please.

The production of the game was weird also like the audio for the hype video was messed up and they weren’t showing any replays for some reason.
