Would be a bad game to lose, meltdown would be epic.
It's a bad USCe team. Hopefully LSU comes out focused.

Fans play zero role in the teams preparation for the week

Truth. That is not what I am speaking of here...I am speaking of the fact that most here seem to believe it is a foregone conclusion LSU will win with relative ease.

I just don't see that being the case. I could even seen SC winning the game if we don't play better than the last two weeks.

If we complete only 4 passes this week, I can guarantee we will lose.

Good thing we aren't on the team.

Because there's certainly no track record of taking teams lightly by this group of players and coaches.

Fortunately, it doesn't matter how we prepare for a game. As long as there is beer in the cooler and food on the grill, I'm prepared.

The way fans view an upcoming game doesn't affect the way our team prepares. After last weekends lackadaisical play, our team will be read.

Saban always said it did. He'd bitch about it constantly. Said the fan thinking would permeate the team and made it harder for him to keep their focus.

The deal is the melt. If we win 28-25, the wheels will be falling off. People need to respect Spurrier's history of upsets. This game will likely be very close...

Miles is on the sideline. I have no doubt the game will be close in the 4th quarter, though I think LSU finds a way to win. Games like AU surprise me much more than than games like the one against SU this season. LSU is just as apt to play a bad USC team close as they are to play a very good Bama or Ole Miss team close

The early start is a concern, but USCe is terrible. Probably the worst team in the SEC this season.

This has been a really unusual game week with all of the flooding going on. There is no way to tell how much it will affect South Carolina. It may create a lack of focus for them (understandable), or it could galvanize them into playing like this is the Super Bowl. Hopefully, LSU is ready for their best shot.

Unless they're worse than Western Michigan that's the kinda of thinking that concerns me. All too often Miles's teams play down to the level of the competition.

After all the negative press the players are getting from last week's game I would expect a better and more spirited effort from LSU on Saturday. We will see

I have a feeling we're not, so let's call it even.

Have you seen USC this season? I don't know what Spurrier has been doing but he hasn't been recruiting. This team doesn't have near the playmakers that USC had just a few years ago.

I'm not going to look it up...but didn't you have pretty much the same post against Auburn? I guess if you keep posting it enough when LSU is the favorite...eventually it will come true right?
