Yeah, because they report every crime, unlike our corruption. They had seven murders last year. We had 149. You think those are remotely comparable, internet Genius who sites the first thing google pulls up without actually looking at data?
They also have some good bars if you like beer.

Agree. Mahogany bar has one of the largest selections of craft beer anywhere. Keg and Barrel is another good beer bar. We are going to foood their small bars, though.. And they are pretty lax on drinking around the stadium for games, unlike some places. This is a great draw for us.

Mugshots is the pinnacle of dining over there.
There are some fine dining options, or at least there were a decade ago.

Hattiesburg is what Baton Rouge used to be

Diamond members can still get a room.

Lying motherfricker. Robert St John has several good restaurants there. Tabella is a decent Italian restaurant. I do miss Chesterfields.

Great thread. Hotel threads are even comedy theater on this board

The lodging in BR is superior to Hattiesburg in every was as are the eateries. Hattiesburg has no hotels to rival the Renaissance, Hilton Capitol House, the Watermark, the Marriott, L'Auberge, or even Embassy Suites.

I haven’t stayed in Hattiesburg in a hot minute, but I remember The Hampton Inn being 5 star Hattiesburg accommodations

I have lived in Hattiesburg for over 20 years, and while most things are conveniently located on the main road, there is a lot more to Hattiesburg than that.
Mugshots makes a good burger, but I would not even put them in my top 15-20 places to eat here.

It seems like alot of our hotels are booked. In helping family find a place to stay over Christmas, we came across a lot of airbnb places, many of which were convenient to campus. I would definitely check there.

More importantly how in the hell are you planning on getting tickets?
Apparently visiting teams didnt get an alottment due to their tiny stadium.
I'd maybe invest in some cheap USM gear from walmart/academy and simple change into your LSU gear after you scalp some tickets.
ETA- i guess the non USM games should be easy to get in but hopefully there's only 1 of those
