Good god! I watched him play for W. Monroe against Shaw in the State Championship HS game last century. He played for about one hundred years at LSU it seemed. He is still playing - good on him.

LSU still has 3 players in the NFL from the 2003 national championship team.

I bet Southern Cal has zero.

aka we were real national champs

Him and Kyle williams are the best players from the golden era and they never get talked about! Saban's best players who succeeded in the NFL

Whitworth has already made over 66 million dollars. I am going to guess ole Shooter has made over 100 million.

I'm pretty sure that before the Packers recently picked up Ricky Jean Francois, there were more players on NFL rosters from the 2003 team than there were from the 2007.

Now it's 3 to 3, I believe.

Andrew Whitworth
Kyle Williams
Donnie Jones

Brandon LaFell
Joe Barksdale
Ricky Jean Francois

The greatest OT to ever come out of LSU and always got little respect here and in the NFL.

He went 2 NFL seasons without giving up a sack and didnt get voted to the Pro Bowl! That is a total lack of respect. Once he did get recognized he has made more All-Pro teams than Pro Bowls.

Not just still playing. He is arguably the most dominant left tackle in the game right now.
