Using the quote feature would be nice, seeing as we have no idea what you're responding to.

I'm just a bit too critical at times, but I still love LSU football.

I'm not "ragging" on our starting QB. I'm just saying he's not very good. I didn't say anything about the man personally. For all I know, he is a very religious christian with the right beliefs and values.

You might be just as good of a person as Hatch is, but I'm starting to think otherwise with all the hateful comments you make towards me.

dont take anything i say personal. im not serious.

i just dont like when people talk down on hatch's game. you obviously dont think he is an sec caliber qb, and think he has a terrible arm.

but just give the guy a chance.

if he plays crappy, which he hasnt done, then talk bad about him. you dont have to have the strongest arm on the planet to win games. no lsu fan should care about a big arm seeing that we con a NC last year with a guy who couldnt throw the deep ball.

the lack of the deep ball is the only knock i see on him. he can run and he's accurate. good enough to take advantage of the talent around him.

Flynn's throw in that video carried about 60 yards in the air. I doubt Hatch could do that with a 30 MPH wind behind him.

threw it on the 45 and caught it on the 5. thats 50 yards. hatch can throw the ball 50 yards.

repost:

Everyone is premature on the judgements of Hatch.

Things we know:

1) Accurate
2) Looks to be a heady QB with some decision making ability
3) Mobile
4) Below average arm
5) If he started for any team besides LSU we'd be crucifying him as fans.

Things we don't know:
1) He hasn't proven himself against SEC competition
2) How can GC adapt the playcalling to move the ball against the 8 man fronts we're going to see
3) Can his below average arm keep defenses honest

Tell me again how many games we've seen Hatch play? I can only recall one, plus the spring game ... and in the spring game I seem to remember him throwing a nice deep ball (don't remember who it was to). How many interceptions has he thrown? How many fumbles? Give the guy a chance to screw up before we start calling for a new QB.

Crowton didnt bring Hatch to LSU to be anything other than a coach in training.

Do you really think Crowton would risk his job and reputation by starting someone brought to LSU as a "coach in training"? Hatch started because he is LSUs best option at this time. If he's nothing more than a "coach in training", it must not say much for Lee.

Do we really know why Crowton likes Hatch so much? Do I need to spell it out?

Come on, you don't really believe that. Give the guy a chance. From now on we will always have a proven qb with at least 3 yrs experience, every year. (sarcasm for the afflected )
