Hatch is a great QB because he went to Harvard and took a Mormon mission.

unless his legs are broke, he actually can run.

it may not be that fast or quick, but he can physically run.

ya he is a good QB but he aint the fastest thing sure every now and then he'll break a tackle or something but they treat him like a running back

he can run but he's not very good at it and is absolutely no threat to throw ball. he really brings nothing to the table

Catch the defense off guard with option passes... Tebow style.

And I like how much effort he puts into his runs, he actually tries to get more yards after contact

Agree, he needs to learn that "option" means he can pitch, too.

Personally I think Hatch should be in the game on 80% of 1st down plays.

Hatch rushing is 35 carries for 129 yards with two touchdowns.

Passing he is 25 for 45 for 282 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.

I don't think he is 1st team all SEC but I think he can bring something to the table. For a quarterback I am satisfied with 3.7 yards per carry and less interceptions. Why not give him a shot? Just because he can't throw deep?

I agree. Hatch is steady. A Crowton recruit, so Crowton knows how to play him. Good grief fellas, give the kid a chance. You will give Lee all the chances in the world. "Throw those interceptions, kid, we love you anyway." But, hells bells, you people don't want Hatch to touch the ball.

I would also like to make an input that Hatch can scramble if there are no receivers open. I prefer that than a INT :X

Honestly, I don't care that Hatch can't throw downfield, I trust him within the 15-25 yards he can throw.. And the short simple throws that can be big gains from YAC. He's accurate enough for that.

He was 2-2-22 yards passing on Saturday.

He can run. He built up some strong leg muscles on his bike riding Mormon mission.
