They never disclose the reason for the suspension. Unless it's already known, obviously. They just cite "team rules."

I heard about him kicking some dude's arse this summer, too. I just have a hard believing that Les had him deliberately hobble around before the NSU game and wear a boot or crutches or whatever to perpetuate the lie. Seems far-fetched. Now, maybe Miles used the injury to take the time to go ahead and suspend him?

I found it weird because Wings incident happened during the summer if Im not mistaken, so why didnt Les suspend him for the Oregon game?
I truly think he is hurt but Wing could have played but Les used the time to suspend him now since our competition wasnt a top 5 team.

Well, when you have a senior starting QB indefinitely suspended on a battery charge, announcing a 1 game suspension for another player due to a battery charge, might not be well received.
It would most certainly have caused unnecessary media attention.
Besides, I noticed prior to the defense's first snap that Baker wasn't out there, and mentioned it to those sitting around me. I said injury or suspension, and less than 5 minutes later got a text alert about the suspension.
Who was going to notice a missing #38?

FWIW, I know what it could be. What happened was: A douchey brat at a local high school was hanging with Wing's ex and was trying to start something. Wing went over to his ex's house and beat the crap out of the kid. The kid's dad called Les Miles and wanted him to handle it internally. He didn't, so after a couple weeks the kid's dad threatened to press charges since nothing was being done. Of course, after Shadygate, CLM decided he would handle it internally (suspension from a couple games). So yeah. Two douches fighting over a girl. Whats new?

I saw him with my own eyes skipping/hopping off the field after NWS pregame warmups.
He was dressed out and apparently hurt his foot/ankle/ or leg during the warmups. This what I saw with my own eyes, not hearsay.

I'm going with the conspiracy theory that its a cover up for his suspension.
