Has there been a worse month to be an LSU fan?

To go from where we were the morning of the Alabama game to today getting confirmation that we have a new Joe Dean running the university.
I've never been more pessimistic or disheartened about the future of our once proud football program.

The first game I remember going to as a child was 1987.
At least in the 90's I didn't know what I was missing or that LSU could be anything other than mediocre or terrible.

There is no reason to not be proud of the football program. I am still proud to this day to say I am an LSU fan. They handled this horribly and people in charge will probably lose their job, but us fans should hold our heads up and show everyone that we will get through this.

January of 2012 sucked too. I remember the 90s and the early 2000s before '03, but I was pretty young so it didn't affect me, really.

I disagree. That was just one embarrassing loss. This month just set the program back 5-10 years.

Depends on recruiting and how next year goes. And you say that was just one month but this month only happens because of that month so January 2012 was far worse.
