Lsu looks really weak, getting pushed around every game. I know the team has lost a lot to transferring, kicked off (valentine) weed, doghouse or whatever. Did all this impact more than fans thought?

Yea, our talent has fallen well below the Mississippi States and Troys of the world.

It's dropped off some, maybe enough for MSU to be able to compete with us some, but not stomp us and certainly not for Troy to push us around. I'd think replacing Grimes would be the most obvious first step in the right direction.

Before we lost to Ms. State and then Troy..... and played poorly against Syracuse... nobody was questioning the talent. Now that we lost a couple games you’re going to question the talent? We’re loaded with talent. Some people are not cut out to be head coaches.

I shake my head now

We literally have people on here who believe Troy was more talented than us and thats why we lose

Scale of 1 - 10. Bama being 10 and little sisters of the poor being 1....

What are we in talent? Curious

Man, imagine Orgeron's luck. He not only had to deal with Ole Miss being a dumpster fire where no one can win, USC being too elitist for a Cajun coach, now he's stuck at LSU with a talent-less roster full of dummies, a bum for an offensive coordinator, an overrated defensive coordinator, and fans that make him lose because of their negativity.

Why does the world conspire to stifle Orgeron at every turn? It's just not fair.

If everyone would just cooperate, he's clearly Nick Saban's superior.

Several years ago it was noted by other coaches that there was a decline in talent. In 2017, the Tigers lost Adams, Riley, beck with and White.

This years team is as untalented as I've seen since 2008

There's been a major change in players attitudes. We sell players on the NFL as NFLU and nobody comes to LSU to put in work and bleed for their school. It's all about declaring a top 12. Then promising NFL in 3 years if they come to LSU. Then when they do t play year 1 they transfer or become lazy. Then when it's their turn to play they don't care about the name on the front of their jerseys, only the name on the back. And this all started with Alleva & Les and O pumps that NFL shite too. "Come to LSU. You won't need to work hard or bleed purple & gold and you'll be in the NFL in no time. Who cares about the team, school or score. Alleva will bleed the fans dry with tickets, parking, and concessions if we win or lose." As long as we have 5 star players on the field not caring we'll continue to get the corporate sponsors and the losing won't stop.

This x a million.

Our two best D-Linemen are young guys (Alexander and Lawrence) and our d line has looked like shite since they have been injured. O-line the attrition has been even worse. Blame orgeron all you want, you can't win football games if you can't win the LOS. Why was no one questioning LSU in their first two games? Lawrence and Alexander, that's why. Those two were eating up blocks AND getting penetration regularly. LaCouture gets penetration maybe twice a game and is regularly pushed 2-3 yards off the ball. He stiffened up a little bit against Troy (because Troy doesnt have the talent of Miss St) but with the lack of depth they cant do anything at the back end of games.

If Alexander and Lawrence can both play Saturday I think our defense looks drastically better. Not sure about the o-line though. My only hope is the D can force more 3 and outs and maybe we can wear down floridas d-line...

According to 24/7 composite rankings based on current active rosters, LSU is 6th in the nation. Far and away ahead of Miss State and Troy.
Now, how that talent is being used and developed is a coaching issue.

Get it through your thick skull that Orgeron is a horrible coach and the talent we have on our lines is infinitely better than what Troy has. I’m tired of hearing people blame the abomination we’re seeing on the field on a lack of talent.

Lies. We have the second most talented 2-deep OL in the SEC and likely a top 3 2-deep on DL.

52 4/5* Athletes on this LSU roster. Horrible coaching and a team with a give up attitude will make a talented team look abysmal.
