Has the CBS pregame impersonation of Coach O's voice been discussed?

I thought LSU brass made it known they were unhappy with ESPN when they did it during the BYU game. Wonder if CBS got a call this week.

Seems in poor taste, BUT.....

IMO I dont think the players can even understand the guy. Pretty hard to be motivated by someone when you can't decipher wtf they're trying to say.

It's amazing that you've convinced yourself this.

everyone knows exactly what O is saying. I'm not even from Louisiana and have no trouble whatsoever understanding him. Figuring out wtf Les Miles meant in his incoherent rambling was much more difficult.

This. The infatuation with O's voice is quite annoying. It's not even Cajun. It's just gravelly as shite

If reporters want to do it let them. But fans should be allowed to throw shite at them every time they do.

No convincing needed. I find myself needed to concentrate just to understand the words he's saying. I cant imagine kids being able to fully understand and respond to him, especially kids from other states that aren't used to hearing cajun accents.

You can tell yourself his voice isn't a factor but that's just not true.

Meh, with how bad of a coach O is. I have no desire to stick up for him.
