Haha, you know it. I was actually at that Sugar Bowl against Oklahoma, just forgot about White.

The OP is an OG. He was posting here before you even had to log in. You were probably still wearing diapers.

He threw for almost 4000 yards and 40 touchdowns. He obliterated the big 12.

Then he (and his team) shite the bed in the big 12 CG and the BCSCG.

Yes I know that. I was commenting on him saying there must have not been good comp for the heisman because he wasn't a good one. Fact is, his resume going into the heisman voting was stellar.

Yeah, he had big numbers that year, but LSU strangled him. I think he was 14-41 in the BCS game.

Those pictures of Marquise Hill and Marcus Spears brought back some memories. Kyle Williams and Chad Lavalais along with Melvin Oliver created the deepest D-Line in LSU history.

Saban's philosophy has not really changed. Get the biggest, baddest D-line and LBs with top athletes playing man coverage in the secondary and put the pressure on the offense to block you.

Check out the 2003 lineup here:

Neither qb played will in that game. Defense won that.

He still actually threw for almost 300 yards in that one, but LSU completely dominated him.

Boagni wasn't the kicker that year lol. It was Chris Jackson and Ryan Gaudet

Yeah that looks like a pre-season list since Laron Landry was not listed as a starter either.

It's hard to play them in a bowl when Bama will win Heisman. Jalen Hurts wins this year and is, by far, the worst statistical winner of all time. Award is a joke anymore.

Agreed. Matt Mauck made a couple of key mistakes in that game that kept it close. Otherwise, LSU wins in a blowout.
