I keep seeing this - harris was improving until the bama game. I like the kid and haven't given up, but he was not getting better.

he was the same. he was being extremely protective of the ball, but the only good passes he threw all year were long balls. he looked the same every game. no touch on short routes. he would sling 1 or 2 intermediate throws per game. he was always throwing high and placing our receivers in harm's way.

of course, how could he improve since we only let him throw 3 or 4 short to intermediate passes per game. now maybe they called some of those routes and he slung it way downfield anyway, which I suspect he did. but why didn't the coaches work on it?

because we were winning against inferior opponents running and we didn't need to.

well, later in the year we needed to.

Im sure the coaches worked with in the spring, summer, and into the fall. I think BH lacks confidence and puts too much pressure on himself to make perfect throws. I also think the team started to lose confidence him towards the end of the season which only made things worse. He has to be able to make the throws in practice or he wouldn't be on the field in the game.

He obviously improved past that game as well considering he a had a career high vs ole miss even with all the drops and bad throws.

You are among the Top Three Worst Posters on this board.

Your analysis is nearly always incorrect, and your recitation of the facts is consistently inaccurate.

He was getting dramatically better.

You're still fricking awful.

Cams passing offense isn't QB friendly. Lots of downfield low percentage passes. It made more sense to use Guice/Fournette in the screen game earlier in the year instead of play action go routes all game long. Gordon getting injured didn't help.

Harris should be able to execute it better in 2016. He was doing great before the Alabama game.

I believe you believe this. we must have been watching different games.

I don't give a damn about your statistics. when we had to throw he couldn't make clutch plays and looked like a deer in the headlights.

yes, every now and then he would throw a beautiful, beautiful pass. but that was the exception. mostly too hard, too high, behind the receivers.

we were hoping so badly that he would get better we thought it was true.

when he had to throw in ball games it was awful. he had big yards vs ole miss and how many points did we rack up?

i'm not downing BH. I think he could be better with better coaching.

btw, i'll be watching for your posts from now on so I can learn from one of the masters.

Well of course you don't. Why be objective or rely on objective facts over the course of seven games.

Surely your subjective eyes and imperfect recollection provide a much better foundation for your agenda.

It couldn't hurt.
