Harris
58.6 completion percentage
1098 passing yards
9 passing touchdowns
Dobbs
58.1 completion percentage
1272 passing yards
9 passing touchdowns
I think Harris is coming along nicely.
Btw one of these works in a pro-style and the other in a spread. I think Dobbs has slightly rushing stats but also works in a very QB friendly system.
Why Dobbs? Both very similar QBs and one has more expierence and bigger pre season expectations.

Dobbs looked like a deer in headlights in the second half last week.
I think Brandon holds more upstairs.

Harris is a smooth operator with no picks

I don't really understand the comparison. I don't find them to be that similar. I'm surprised Dobbs' completion percentage is more than 50%.
Also, Dobbs has attempted 191 passes to Harris' 128. I don't think Harris with 191 attempts would look anything like Dobbs statistically.
Tennessee was the most overhyped team in the SEC early on and all preseason and that's because Dobbs was the most overhyped player. So far, quite the contrary for Harris and LSU.

Yes that is the exact reason their skin pigment

I don't think it's comparing apples to apples. Dobbs has undoubtedly thrown the ball more and maybe he's not as well prepared as Brandon Harris is. I mean, Dobbs is in the spread and has many reads, and a lot of times I have seen LSU have 1 or 2 guys in the pattern (especially the red zone). Plus the number of plays UT runs compared to LSU and It's probably a little closer.
I think Harris is a better QB of course. He has a stronger arm, quicker release, and he's doing just about as good as he can considering the limited opportunities, some key drops and some penalties that have robbed our entire offense of big plays.
I think Brandon Harris can become a taller Aaron Rodgers as he progresses and gains confidence.

I could agree with that if his ball placement and progressions improve.I just hope we dont ever NEED him to be like that game in and out.

I'm a major Brandon fan and believe he is highly intelligent. But Dobbs is also highly intelligent. In fact, that is one of the things he is known for, his high intelligence.
